Meet the Team

    Todd Ullom
Todd has over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry holding senior executive positions with both private and public homebuilding companies.  Throughout his career, Todd has managed growth and turn around companies, developed new business opportunities, designed industry leading business processes and developed marketing strategies.  His experience includes vice president of strategy and homebuilding operations and president of the Palm Beach Division for WCI Communities; COO for Matthews Brothers Homes; vice president of sales and business development for BuildNet; and director of operations for John Wieland Homes.  Todd has had P&L responsibility for more than $350 million in annual homebuilding revenues, developed turn around programs for over 50 communities, created the Martha Stewart and Ralph Lauren branded home concepts and raised over $100 million in venture capital.  Todd has a B.S. in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
 
     

Gary Hartogh
Gary has over 30 years experience as an owner developing commercial and residential communities in South Africa Europe and the United States totaling over $2 billion.    He has developed single family and multifamily projects from production homes to high end custom estate communities in addition to golf courses and marina complexes.  While he was in South Africa, Gary was the managing director of Original Homes a large developer of high end master planned communities.  After moving to Spain, Gary was president of Montana Investments where he managed investments in real estate projects throughout southern Europe and served as consultant for Gary Player Design Company on golf course designs in throughout Europe. Gary has a degree in Finance and strong project management, finance, negotiation and sales & marketing experience and has managed through three industry cycles.

       
     

Tom Hayes
Tom has over 30 years experience in project turn-around, strategic planning and marketing. He’s managed and consulted real estate development companies with respect to gaining competitive advantage and optimizing returns on a wide range of residential and commercial projects exceeding $3 billion.  During the last lending crises Tom served as a consultant to lenders and federal banking agencies. Tom advised the FDIC/RTC with respect to its oversight of the assisted sale of American Savings and Loan in Stockton, California, the second largest S&L in the nation.  This five-year assignment involved monitoring of asset management and disposition activities of the Robert Bass Group and advising the FDIC regarding the effectiveness of their management and disposition of over $3.5 billion in real estate foreclosures and non-performing assets around the country.  He holds BA and MBA Degrees in Finance and Real Estate from California State University Fullerton.

       
   

 

David Haifleigh
David has 30+ years experience in linguistics and marketing communications in the real estate industry.  He is a certified Business Professional, a linguistically-trained Brand specialist, and a developer of single-family homes. David is recognized by the National Association of Home Builders Sales & Marketing Council as one of the country's leading residential real estate marketing specialists having been honored with more than 300 awards for sales and marketing effectiveness. Nationally, David has worked on projects and for such clients as Highlands Ranch, Shea Homes, Hines Residential, the Museum Residences at the Denver Art Museum by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, Oakwood Homes, Green Valley Ranch, C.P Morgan Homes, D.R. Horton, TerraBrook, The Celebration Company in Orlando, and Summerlin in Las Vegas. He has also provided integrated Brand communications for Apple, Sun Microsystems, United States Olympic Committee, Colorado Rockies and Mature Living Choices Magazine.   David holds a B.S. degree in Business from the University of Colorado.
       
      Bob Worrell
Since 1976, Bob has built a reputation for intelligent product design.  He provides an interdisciplinary approach to product and brand development, utilizing strategy, research, design and engineering to create cutting-edge victories for a wide range of clients.   Bob is the inventor of Censys®, a proprietary customer research process that projects customer behavior and streamlines the product-to-market process. He has also invented and acquired software and methodologies that focus the design process, including OnTask®, The DesignBrand Strategy™ and Design-Path®.

Bob has been an IDSA National Board Member, is on the board of advisors of the College of Design and is an advisor to the Innovation by Design Program at the Carlson School of Management, both at the University of Minnesota.  He served on the 2004 AAMI committee on design and human factors and was named one of the 100 notable people in the medical device industry in 2004.  Mr. Worrell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from Purdue University.
